Miami Valley, Ohio (Miami, Montgomery, Greene, Butler & Warren Counties) | Since 2014
|
Neighborhood Stabilization and Program Development/Management
DCA started working with County Corp in 2015 to provide a unique solution to utilize opportunities available to County Corp while providing capacity to manage and oversee the program. Together DCA and County Corp created Home Connector, allowing for-profit and non-profit partners a "First Look" opportunity to buy REO properties. We term these partners "Socially Responsible Developers" and require these partners to subscribe to Home Connector's property rehabilitation standards and disposition expectations.
Since the inception of the Home Connector program, $1.5 million in overall development/investment has entered the Miami Valley with over 30 completed projects creating more quality affordable housing opportunities. |
